Digital Citizenship is using good ethics online in social media, being safe about postings, and being smart about internet use.
I only have a couple of social media pages set up, but overall I believe that I have done a good job of being ethical and respectful to others. For one of the assignments for this class, we had to make public twitter accounts. I felt like I had to be extra careful of what I posted because not only could my direct friends see my profile, but anyone on the internet could. I learned to be sure that I was smart about my posts.
I made an info graphic about Digital Citizenship in connection to teens. I included statistics about the internet and teens on the info graphic, and created it in an original way to make it interesting and exciting to learn about.

i think this is some really good information that some people should look into what their children and their children's peers are doing online. and you never know some people may have social network accounts you may have no idea that they exist.
ReplyDeleteI think it is really interesting that seven percent of teens don't use internet, I think we really take it for granted always having the ability to Google anything we need to.

ReplyDeleteReally nice infographic. It's amazing how many teens have access to the internet in the US.
ReplyDeleteThat is shocking information about the 7% of teens don't use the internet. You had some really good facts and we do take having access to the internet for granted and being able to search anything we want on Google.
ReplyDeleteI think it is important for teens to be able to restrict access to postings on the internet. Some of what is posted can have an adverse effect on future opportunities.
